Chris Parisi's Pick of The Week

Chris Parisi’s Pick of The Week:

QLD Daisy Mandarins

Feel like tasting sunshine? Pick up a Daisy mandarin. Their rich flavour and sweet taste immediately makes you think of long hot summer days, even in the coldest months. Their origin story might give some explanation as to why these delicious fruit remind you of warmer times. They were originally cultivated in 1970s California, and officially named by citrus farmer Dowling Young after his wife - we’ll give you three guesses for what her name was! They are a cross between Fortune and Fremont mandarins and are now considered to outshine their parent fruit.

Time to load up on vitamin C and remind yourself of sunnier days!
